3 on 3 Basketball Tournament

Adam, Daniel, Matt and Will

Daniel played in a basketball tournament on Memorial Day. The team played pretty well. They actually lost their first game but won the next 3 or 4 games until finally being defeated. We called them the Old, Fat and Lazy Team. ha ha

Memorial Weekend

Caliente has a big celebration Memorial Weekend. There is a parade, BBQ's, Dutch Oven cooking, Lincoln County Idol, baseball tournament (they play all day long until late at night, people come from all over and camp out at the park) and a school carnival which was actually cancelled due to cold weather. Of course it was in the 90's last weekend and only the 50's and rainy this weekend. Our kids got lots of candy at the parade. We went to a baseball game and watched a local team beat a team from Vegas. We then went to a dutch oven dinner and went to Lincoln County Idol where Dan was one of the judges (he played Simon). Grandpa & Grandma visited us this weekend and our kids were so excited to have them here. Hayden told them that they have to move to Panaca so that they can be closer. He loves to be with family.

Hailey Graduates from Kindergarten

Hailey graduated from Kindergarten. She was fun to watch while the class showed us some of the things they have learned through the year. Hailey has really grown this year and is reading really well for her age. I can't spell out words to Dan hoping the kids won't understand because she picks it right up. She is the tallest in her class. She has made a lot of friends and is really enjoying life.

Play Time

My kids love to play with their friends. We had a play day with a lot of friends that came over after school. Now that school is almost out my kids want to play 24/7.

Hailey lost her first tooth!

Hailey lost her first tooth. The tooth fairy gave her a dollar for her tooth. She was so excited.

Hanging at home on Sunday night.

"Boys Camp" as Hayden calls it...

The boys all went to the Father and Sons camp-out this past weekend. Hayden & Harrison were so excited for it and kept asking me when "Boys Camp" was. They had a fun time with all the other kids and loved roasting marshmallows.

Sunday nap time

Our kids have mandatory nap time on Sunday's and we love it. Hailey got Hudson to sleep, aren't they all cute?

Potty Trained!!!!

Harrison is potty trained!!! Although he does have a few accidents here and there, but for the most part is doing very well. He even stays dry through the night. Luckily we won't have to buy any more diapers for him. Yipee!

SNORE

This past weekend we watched the "Dusty Times Caliente 250" race of the Southern Nevada Off Road Enthusiasts (SNORE). The race goes through the mountains here, it starts and ends here in town. Here are a few pictures Lara (my sister) and I took with our cell phones.
You can see a buggy in the back ground and also another one coming down the mountain above the kids heads.
This lot is packed with a bunch of RV's, trailers and tents during the weekend.
The buggies were loud! The kids had a lot of fun.

T-Ball Season....

So Daniel is coaching T-Ball this year. Hailey and Hayden are both on the team and they had their first game yesterday. They were pretty cute out there with their baseball caps and the batting helmet. Hailey hit one ball to the outfield, Dan was proud of her. When Hayden hit the ball he ran to second base, it was pretty cute he was so excited just to run anyway. Harrison loves to be involved with the team, he loves to practice with the team and run bases. Yesterday he sat behind the team and laid in the dirt and rubbed dirt in his hair. When we got home we had to hose him off. It was such a funny site, he came running in our house wet and cold but with a smile on his face!
