Hudson makes it a year!

Hudson turned 1 year today amidst a total lack of fanfare.  We did buy him a new set of clothes and we will have some cake later today.  We do love this little guy a lot though.  He is our "spoiled" child.

I passed the Utah Bar!

Well, my nerves were edgy these last few weeks waiting for the Utah Bar results.  I didn't study much, mostly because I didn't have much time.  This morning Dave Mink (my cousin) called to let me know the results were out.  (Congratulations Dave for passing too!).  Fortunately I passed.  As soon as I told Hayden, he responded "when are we moving back to Spanish Fork?"  LOL--life is good.

Pioche Labor Day Celebration

This past weekend was the Pioche, NV Labor Day Celebration. Daniel volunteered to be in the dunking booth. The kids each had a turn dunking him and they thought it was the greatest thing ever! We also went to the parade and the kids got a lot of candy. 

Lake Powell

We just returned home from a week at Lake Powell with the Hooge family on Saturday. We had a ton of fun. Daniel landed a back flip wakeboarding. I got better at wakeboarding and was close to clearing the wake, maybe next year! haha  Hailey is skiing really well. Harrison loves riding the tube and water weenie. The kids had a ton of fun with their cousins. We enjoyed relaxing, playing games and boating all week! Can't wait until next year.

First Day of School!

August 18th was the first day of school for the kids. Hailey is in 1st grade, Hayden is in Kindergarten and Harrison is in Preschool. They were all very excited for school to start. 

Swim Lessons

Our kids took swim lessons this summer. Hailey passed her level and swims like a dolphin. :) Hayden and Harrison both passed their levels and can now swim on their own! They are all doing so well. 

Harrison's 3rd Birthday!

We celebrated Heather's birthday in Salt Lake City. The kids had fun playing at the water fountain!

Mink Reunion

Continuing our trip to Utah... we also spent a few days with the Mink's for a family reunion. We took some family pictures at Dan's Uncle's home. Here they are.

Boating and camping

While Dan was busy taking the Utah State Bar at the end of July the kids and I spent the weekend in Delta. We went camping in Oak City Canyon for the Christensen reunion, the kids and I had a lot of fun catching up with cousins and playing games. On Saturday we cleaned up camp and went to the Delta Reservoir with my siblings and family to go boating with Grandma and Grandpa Tippetts'. We had a blast boating, tubing and skiing.

Daniel Lands a Backflip!

We recently returned from a wonderful trip to Lake Powell.  After several years and several hundred attempts I finally landed a backflip!  Of course I am very proud of it so I had to post it first thing!
