Daniel's Birthday

We celebrated Dan's 31st birthday on June 15th. We had fun stuffing ourselves with pizza, cake & ice cream. yum yum

I left for girls camp on the 16th. We went canoeing at Kolob Reservoir and repelling. It was a little cold and rainy, but it turned out nice for the last day of camp (of course it was our hiking day so we were hot). It was fun to hang out with the girls and the other leaders.

Grandma Hooge and Kaitlin helped out with watching our kids on the last day of camp so that Dan could go to work, THANK YOU! We had a lot of fun with them here. They took our kids to Kershaw Ryan on Friday while I was able to unload and clean up my things and take a shower. On Saturday we got ready for a picnic at the city pool, but wouldn't you know it, as soon as we pulled out of the street a dust storm filled the air and then followed wind, rain, hail, lightning, and more wind. Of course we still had to try for the pool after we took so long to make our sack lunches, which then of course was closed due to the bad weather. We then decided to head to Cathedral Gorge and we hit even more wind, rain, and hail. It was crazy! After forcing the truck through storm for a while, we decided it would be better to turn around and have a picnic on our kitchen floor. It was an adventure that's for sure. We then watched a movie and had popcorn. After the movie the storm had cleared up so we went on a walk to the park let the kids play for a while.
